Officially Sized Cornhole Board

The official size for Cornhole boards, as declared several years ago by the ACA is 4 feet long by 2 feet wide. The rear edge is raised 12 inches from the ground, and the front edge is 3.5 to 4 inches high. The hole is 6 inches, and is centered from left to right and 9 inches from the rear of the board.

Board Styles

Two main board styles exist for offically sized 4x2 cornhole boards.

Cornhole Board: Box Style
  • open sided boards - The most common type of cornhole board is an 2x4 framed board with a plywood top.
  • box style boards - completely plywood boards with with closed sides.
